๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ Cleaning House, by Kay Wills Wyma

I have to agree with my dear friend: most of this book seemed rather commonsensical to me. I have never been one to coddle my children, and have always had high expectations of them. They are all members of our family "team" and we fully expect them to contribute.

The book was laden with eye roll moments. For example, the author has a nanny come in twice a week to do her housework while simultaneously trying to teach them to be self-sufficient... a bit hypocritical, in my opinion. There was just an overall disingenuous feeling to it.

However, I did also agree with the premise and feel that it could be a valuable read for any parents struggling with youth entitlement. Unfortunately, I didn't think of it as anything earth-shattering.
