This second installment of Edward was a bit more serendipitous, but was just as entertaining. Because Edward is "adrift", there is not quite as much repetition as in the first novel, because the plot does not call for it; he is in a different place in his life. Edward is just as endearing, and I, again, laughed out loud multiple times. What a memorable character, and what a marvelous voice he was given by Mr. Lancaster. It is rare that I want to pick up other books by the same author, simply because there are SO many books I want to read. This author, however, wrote with such clarity and humor that I may just have to pick up his book of short stories.
*Again, there is a bit of language for humor's sake.
