๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, by Jamie Ford

This was quite simply a lovely book.  I was surprised to find out that it was indeed historical fiction, which captivated me even more.  I was intrigued while learning about the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II, something I was sadly unaware of up to this point.  The characters were so well-developed that they felt like my good friends by the end of the book.  I think that listening to it via Audible made it even better, because the different accents and voices for each character made them even more endearing. The author did a good job of reminding us how fragile relationships can be, while also convincing us that it is never too late to forgive and heal.
