I was truly impressed with Piccoult's research. Having a nephew on the spectrum, the frank, and often hilarious interactions between Jacob and others around him hit the mark. Their simplistic, unattached view of the world causes those of us with raw emotion to question our logic. Thankfully, I was able to learn a lot about the realities of autism as it relates to immediate family members. I absolutely loved how it was told from different points of view. If I'm honest, however, I did find the climax a bit too predictable:-(.
