๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ Les Liaisons Dangereuses, by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos

Written in a series of dramatic letters, Les Liaisons Dangereuses offers a glance at the worst of humanity. Through the correspondence of two jaded characters, and those they impact, readers are let in on a wicked and sultry scheme concocted by a jealous spinster and her devotee. The script is certainly enticing and keeps the reader enthralled from beginning to end.

As a classic novel, more than 200 years old, it offers surprisingly timeless prose. The variable first-person narrative was brilliant and offered the reader insight into each of the characters' innermost thoughts. It was all-at-once heartbreaking, thought-provoking, and frustrating. Kudos to the narrators from Audible Studios for a tremendously well-done arrangement.
