I blew through this fast-paced, intriguing novel. Although parts of the story line have been done before, I enjoyed it no less. I was even pleased that, although mostly predictable, there was an unforeseen twist thrown in. I did have a slight issue with the clichรฉd autistic brother; his characterization was unremarkable, and a bit disappointing. This character could have had so much more depth.

However, for a debut novel, I have very few gripes, all things considered. It was certainly worth my time.
