πŸ‘ΆπŸ‘ΆπŸ‘ΆπŸ‘ΆπŸ‘Ά The Other Boleyn Girl, by Philippa Gregory

This book was my introduction to our book club, and what an introduction it was! I just love historical fiction that reels me in, while bringing historical facts to life! I just couldn't put it down from beginning to end! It was written from the rarely discussed point of view of Mary Boleyn, Anne's sister, and delves into the absolute chaos and corruption of the time period through her eyes. The plot unfolded dramatically, yet seamlessly, despite the sheer scope of information given. I appreciate Gregory's knack for story-telling from these more obscure points of view. It was the book that truly got me passionate about historical fiction, though there are few that are as engrossing as this one.

*** The sheer size of this book can be intimidating, but I guarantee you, once you start it, you won't be able to put it down!  My family gave up hope on eating a homemade dinner all week😯.  Also, as is to be expected from the time period, be prepared for a little smut.
