πŸ‘ΆπŸ‘ΆπŸ‘Ά Rainwater, Sandra Brown

This novel was very reminiscent of the style of Nicholas Sparks, written in a very sentimental manner. I did enjoy the novel and it was an interesting quick read.

From what I've discovered, this novel is a departure from Sandra Brown's usual style: steamy romantic suspense. Personally the characters seemed somewhat underdeveloped, so I had a hard time getting emotionally involved.  This was an instance where more detail would have been beneficial... I would have loved to really get to know many of the the characters; instead, they ended up being rather sterotypical to the genre.  In addition, the storyline was painfully predictable...

However, I did enjoy the melliflous nature of the book.  Overall, it was a sweet story with a decent pace.
