๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ The Tender Bar, by J.R. Moehringer

J.R. Moehringer is a fine wordsmith, and he captures the reader’s attention with his well-crafted paragraphs, but the content eventually becomes a bit repetitive and wearisome.

I have such appreciation for an author that can concoct beautiful sentences with rich meaning. However, this attribute can be eclipsed by an author’s querulous voice. At some point, some form or other of complaining dominated the narrative, and I lost interest. In addition, there were several inessential parts in the novel, so a bit more editing would’ve been beneficial.

Despite these objections, it was an interesting life story, written in an eloquent manner.
