The Glovemaker

Ann Weisgarber's novels have such a subtle beauty, and The Glovemaker is no exception. Her words charm and enchant, and always leave the reader wanting more. When I finish her novels, I feel the need to delve deeper into the history she has unearthed. She chose such a fascinating moment in history: I have always wondered about the history of LDS, and this story really put much of their past into perspective.

In addition, for the short time her characters are a part of my life, I grow so attached; Deborah and Nels were like long-lost friends. Their hope, their fear, and their pain were all so palpable. I truly look forward to your next treasure, Ms. Weisgarber!

Many thanks to Skyhorse Publishing for gifting me with this novel in exchange for an honest review.
