Everything Inside

I'm such a fan of well-written short stories. In Everything Inside, Edwidge Danticat shows the humanity and resolve of a people coming to terms with loss. The stories were powerful, albeit incredibly depressing. To that end, I'll admit I would have appreciated a few wins strewn about. However, the writing was raw, beautiful, and full of the hope of Haitians around the world.
