๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ: Malibu Rising, by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Malibu Rising
๐Ÿ’ฏWell, first things first... Taylor Jenkins Reid is a fabulous storyteller. I understood her lure from the first page. The entire book was compelling and there was no doubt I wanted to know the outcome for each individual. Her characterization of the residents of Malibu in the 80s was absolutely seductive, and though the entire thing felt like a train wreck, I just couldn't look away๐Ÿ™ˆ.

๐Ÿคท‍♀️I'll be honest though, it was just a little too sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll for me - I just couldn't stomach all the sleeping around and questionable morals of some of the characters. A couple of scenes in particular just can't be unseen๐Ÿ˜ต! But I am glad I had the opportunity to figure out what all the rage was about!
