The Connellys of County Down
This was a fascinating look at a dysfunctional but devoted family. I so appreciated the affection these siblings had for one another through the good times and the bad. Despite a whole lotta mess, it is evident that their love for one another was unwavering.

There was a twist I didn't see coming, which is always fun, and I love a good Irish family story. Some of the decisions made were really frustrating. Honestly, I just couldn't fathom making the sacrifices that both Tara and her sister made for their small parentless (is that a word?) family. You'll have to read it to see if you could do it and let me know!

Overall, it was an engrossing and enjoyable novel that makes readers ponder how far they would go to protect their loved ones. So be on the lookout August 1st for this one!
