I just can't get enough of heartwarming books such as these. Peculiar characters just delight me, and Margery Benson is no exception! I loved her indelible spirit and her quirky sidekick, Enid. Even the supporting characters brought a smile to my face (well, most of them, anyway๐Ÿ˜‚). In her unrelenting quest to find the thing that most fascinated her during childhood, the Golden Beetle of New Caledonia, Margery embarks on a journey with Enid that teaches them both more than they ever thought possible.
