๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ Confessions of a Slacker Mom, by Muffy Mead-Ferro
This was a refreshing look at parenting. It's hard for me to stomach these children who have a ridiculously strong sense of entitlement in this day and age, and I believe this author feels my frustration! To sum it up, the author relays the fact that there is no need to spoil your children; they should learn to think for themselves, and they should be aware that the world doesn't revolve around them (yes, you should have a life outside of changing diapers:-))! This was a quick, funny read... one caveat is that I don't truly believe the title does the author justice. I wouldn't agree that she is a slacker at all, but rather a smart, honest mother who follows her instinct, rather than relying on the next best parenting model.
