πŸ‘ΆπŸ‘ΆπŸ‘Ά Ender's Game, by Orson Scott Card

When stacked up alongside other Dystopian novels such as the more modern Divergent series and Hunger Games, Ender's Game fell a bit short for me. Given that it was published in 1985, I have to admit, I was truly impressed with the prediction of the Internet, which was only commercialized in 1995. It was, however, too predictable... so much so that I found myself hoping for other possible outcomes other than the obvious. It was, nonetheless, a sweet story, of a young boy made to grow up too quickly, having been "genetically engineered" as a superior being to help save the world. It has a decent pace, and good character development. I would categorize it as a good older adolescent read (the swearing is abundant).
