๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ The Hunger Games Trilogy, by Suzanne Collins

Ok, so I am slightly embarrassed to admit -as a mom of 6- that I absolutely LOVED this series!!! What a gruesome, appalling concept, but what an amazing writer Suzanne Collins is. The fact that she had the ability to lure me in to a YA novel that has such a deplorable premise, speaks volumes of her talent! The characters were so well-developed that I felt as though I knew each of them personally. The series was completely engrossing from beginning to end, and each chapter ended in a breathtaking cliffhanger. The plot twists were absolutely gripping. Even as the the third book's beginning progressed a bit slower than anticipated, it quickly moved into a plethora of exciting events midway through. I read the full series in a week and Suzanne Collins managed to ignite my love for Dystopian novels!
