๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ The Husband's Secret, by Liane Moriarty

Sir Walter Scott said it best: "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive..." I didn't quite expect such an in-depth karmic narrative. I am left with my mouth agape. The book began in such a mundane manner, then punched  me in the gut. It was such an interesting examination of human nature, and I have to admit that the epilogue was the most powerful part for me. It was layer upon layer of thought-provoking concepts... topics that invite you to question your own morality and ethical motives. Moriarty did an amazing job of showing the reader the fragility of life, the small choices that lead people down one path and how easily that path can veer.  I also enjoyed how all of the characters' lives intertwined, although it was initially difficult to keep the stories straight. All in all, it was a very entertaining book that would make a fabulous movie.
