๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ Into the Darkest Corner, by Elizabeth Haynes

I tried... but for the life of me, just couldn't get through this book. The language was astonishingly foul (and I'm no prude), and this girl had no respect for herself, whatsoever, which nauseates me. She was so sexually promiscuous, that it was no wonder she eventually ended up with a psycho! Unfortunately, I was only able to muddle through 1/3 of the book, and I gave it 2 stars because the storyline was actually really intriguing. I did like how the author managed to make me feel the protagonist's pain and frustration as she dealt with OCD (some would call this portion of the writing painstakingly repetitive); but she managed to make the reader live through the torture of such a disorder with the character. The shame of it all is that I spent a day fretting over whether or not to return this audible book, or just trudge through the repugnant violence and language. In the end, this book just wasn't for me.

To date, this is the one and only book I've begun and not been able to finish.
