๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ Life and Other Near-Death Experiences, by Camille Pagรกn

As a Kindle First Free Book, I didn’t hold very high expectations for this novel, which may be part of the reason that I gave it half a chance. I would describe this book as Chick Lit at its finest; so it's a wonder I was I even able to stomach it. Any author that attempts to address women’s issues in a light-hearted, comedic fashion, while throwing in a few steamy scenes, just doesn’t usually win my vote. However, I’ll give kudos to Ms. Pagรกn, for a decently-crafted novel.

The storyline, itself, was predictable, and the plot, trite; however, the author did a good job of luring the reader in, and had me curious about the outcome of this character’s life. In addition, although much of it was unrealistic, there were a few comedic references that made me chuckle.

I suppose this is what many might refer to as a good, mindless, beach-read.
