πŸ‘ΆπŸ‘ΆπŸ‘ΆπŸ‘ΆπŸ‘Ά A Man Called Ove, by Fredrik Backman

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! What a delightful story! If I were to attempt to summarize this novel for a perspective reader, I'd surely be laughed at! I honestly can't imagine any sane person wanting to read a novel about a miserable curmudgeon attempting to end his life. But this novel is about so much more. It's a story with tremendous insight, that burgeoned with love as it progressed.

Although Ove was a truly acrimonious old man, the situations he found himself in were so absolutely hysterical, that it made me want to get to know him that much more. The characters were all endearing, the story moved along at a fast clip, and the ending was satisfying.

I rarely read books by the same author, unless it's a series, but I've already ordered his newest novel. With such an authentic voice as his, I can't wait to read more of his work!
