This novel will haunt you for years to come. What a heart-breaking, yet inspiring journey. I was terrified and moved, and felt lost right along with Alice. It was incredibly real as told from the point of view of the patient, herself, while shedding light on a little-understood affliction. It was indeed a page-turner!
