πΆπΆπΆπΆπΆ Water for Elephants, by Sara Gruen
I truly fell in love with the eccentrics in this book, likely because the author did such a good job of humanizing them all. The character development was outstanding, and despite the cliche subject matter (a traveling circus), it was surprisingly captivating! It was also enlightening (albeit not necessarily completely accurate) as it really allowed me to have a better understanding of what a different life circus staff would lead.
