๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ Wonder, by R.J. Palacios

What a a gem of a book, for children and adults alike. R.J. Palacios hit a home-run with this, her first novel, as it is an exceptional read and very well-scripted. I just fell in love with the characters; they are all so exquisitely construed, so authentic and honest. I was transported back into the 5th grade because she truly mastered their lingo, mannerisms, and thought processes. I especially love the story of why Palacios wrote this book: merely an observation of a sweet little girl at an ice cream shop. From that one glimpse of the little girl’s pain, she came up with this masterpiece. To me, that is true talent and amazing compassion. Bravo Ms. Palacios, and thank you for writing a book for all ages that truly shows the power of love. “Choose kind!”
