๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ Defying Nature's Fury, Galveston's Wall Against the Sea, by Keitha Macdonald & Brian Teichman
I love that the authors Keitha Macdonald and Brian Teichman wrote this work of non-fiction for their high school History Day Competition back in 1990! A friend gifted me with this book, as she knew I was fascinated by the Great Storm of 1900. It was a very concise, factual account of the events that surrounded that most horrible tragedy, and what was done to prevent future catastrophe.
