๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ The Gender Lie, by Bella Forrest

Well, in this third installment of the Gender Game series, I finally gave up. Sadly, it just did not hold my attention, and I found myself looking forward to just finishing the novel as quickly as possible. The first two were already a reach for me, but I continued to give it a chance, because I prefer to tie up loose ends. Unfortunately, I can no longer stomach the silly escapades. The characters have little depth, the plot seems to unravel the further into the series I go, and the storyline has become farcical.

It is obvious, when looking at the ratings, that there is certainly an audience for this series: those that get weak in the knees over a mere mention of a dystopian society with a budding romance. As for adults that prefer solid writing with complex characterization, I would advise staying clear.
