This book was given to me by my dearest friend, and is a great reminder of the fact that "this too, shall pass". The author uses Bible stories to help the reader understand that throughout history, people have endured hardships, and still come out the other side. Max Lucado makes the Bible relatable with his mastery of the written word, and has created a nearly "pocket-sized" quick-read manual to use during the rocky times in life.
