πŸ‘ΆπŸ‘Ά My Name is Lucy Barton, by Elizabeth Strout

With a minimally developed plot, poorly fleshed-out characters, and little resolution, I struggled with the rating on this book.  I will admit that the author clearly has a way with words, however, I was surprised that this particular novel lacked emotion and substance. It was really just a disjointed stream of consciousness, that constantly caused me to question events that are alluded to, but never resolved.

I'll admit I'm a plot-driven fan, so those that enjoy character-driven narratives might enjoy this more. It's just that the characters were so threadbare, that I really got little out of this one.
