I had forgotten that I had read The Chronicles of St. Mary's #1 some time ago. This vignette was obviously very similarly written. Now that some years have passed since I last read it, I realize it reminds me of the recent television series, "Timeless". For time travel fans, these may be entertaining reads, as they are relatively fast-paced and exciting.
