Oh Eleanor... what a joy it was to get to know this quirky gal. Gail Honeyman has succeeded in creating a character that has warmed my heart and captured my affection. Eleanor's facetious demeanor and witty observations caused me to laugh aloud, and I really enjoyed joining her on her adventures. I was astounded by Honeyman's ability to seamlessly blend Eleanor's tragic past with her daily comedic situations. Her journey toward healing was incredibly heartwarming.
