๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ Nine Perfect Strangers, by Liane Moriarty

Nine Perfect Strangers

I don't actually know where to begin with this review. This had to be one of the strangest novels I have ever read. It started out in such an ideal setting with such fascinating characters, and then it completely lost traction and suddenly felt like a three-ring circus. The randomness of the second half of this novel was nonsensical, to say the least. The novel began as a rather thought-provoking story and ended up more like a comedy sketch, at best. I seriously considered giving the book 2 stars because of its bizarre sequence of events, but I suppose it was the eccentricity that kept me holding on just to watch this madness unfold. I'm not even quite sure the plot held together throughout the novel... Needless to say, I will never look at health spas the same way again. Wow.

Read 6/5/20
