The Easy Life in Kamusari
In this coming-of-age story with such a sweet storyline, I felt like I was talking to a dear friend the entire time. It was such a simple plot and yet had such a profound message. I found myself relishing in Yuki's journey and really rooting for him.

It was a very quick read and one that made me recognize the beauty of simplicity. I learned so much about the true art of forestry, which is honestly something I'd never considered before. It is a timely novel, indeed. I grew quickly attached to the quirky characters and truly savored the striking setting in Japan.
