๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ In Harm's Way, by Doug Stanton

Gripping, shocking, and tragic, this true story had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I am so dismayed that such a profound story from our past is rarely found in history books, but I am grateful to the author for bringing it to light. It is evident that Mr. Stanton did extensive research and was very aware of the importance of his work. His attention to detail while relaying the events of those life-altering few weeks in 1945 was phenomenal; his story-telling ability, remarkable.

Be prepared for a graphic depiction of the events surrounding the tragic sinking of the U.S.S. Indianapolis, but one that is well-worth your time and emotional investment.
