๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ Byrd, by Kim Church
I loved this book for its simplicity. It was a compilation of poetic vignettes and artfully written narration. The quick pace took me aback at first and I had to grow accustomed to Church's writing style. However, it wasn't long before I recognized how well-crafted this novel was. The author spent no time on trivialities, and it seemed as though each word was well-thought-out. This story followed Addie, a rather forlorn character, from childhood into late adulthood. The storyline was somewhat disheartening, but ultimately redemptive.
